Can you beleve there is a penguin that lives in Australia!  It's called a fairy penguin. I like it and so will you.

This is what they look like. Fairy penguins have a gray and black beack. they have two flipers. Fairy penguins weigh around 1 kilogram and look pretty plump. They are 15 inches and the smallest penguin. Fairy penguins are Blue and white. They have clous and 3 tows. That is the end of what they look like.

This is what they like to eat. They hunt in the ocean. Fairy penguins eat fish, octopuse, squid, and tiny crustaceans. They cech food in their beack too. Do you like what they eat?

Do you know what there enimies are? There enemies are cats, foxes, farets, large reptiles, seals, orcas, sharks, Gulls, eagles, and snakes. Sheep dogs protect these little penguins. Also, some penguins stay on shore to protect the berows. I like how they protect.

This is where they live. They live in large colenes.  Fairy penguins live on the coust of Australia and Tasmania. I can't believe they live in Australia!

This is all about babies. When a male wants to mate it puts its flipers in the air and makes a funny sound. The babies hatch from eggs. Fairy penguins have two babies at a time. Fairy penguins guard burrows. Baby chicks live in under ground buros. I like babies.

Here are some interesting facts. They have tight fethers that are water proof.  They spend there day in the ocean. They Bark when they hunt in the ocean. They Dive up to 226 feet. They are called little, fairy or blue penguins. I like that part best!

Do you like fairy penguins now?
