Katiree has always loved crafts. She's also loved drawing, but since Travis and I are both not artists in any way, we felt that teaching art was not something we could do well. So we found Mrs. Cherrington... and Katiree found a niche.
Through Mrs. Cherrington's classes, Katiree learned color, shading, texture, different mediums. She learned water color, drawing, mixed medium, rock painting and clay. And she flourished. More than Travis and I could have ever dreamed. We both told her of Uncle Matt's talent for art and made sure she had paper and pencils... and later paints and clay.
On her birthday this year, Mrs. Cherrington held her Art Show with all her students' art work. Katiree put three pieces on display as well as some clay and rock paintings.
